Over time, all Stowe Story Labs alumni on Coverfly will see their participation and status in the Labs appear on their Coverfly profile

About Stowe Story Labs
Stowe Story Labs is a Vermont-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping the world’s top emerging screenwriters, filmmakers, and creative producers get work made and seen. We do this through labs, retreats, workshops, and mentoring programs, creating development program for emerging talents. Our participants are diverse on any measure and have come from (so far) thirty states and fifteen countries (from Australia to Ukraine).
Participants in our programs work with top industry mentors, such as Academy Award nominated screenwriter David Magee (Life of Pi, Mary Poppins Returns), Academy Award nominated creative producer (and director of the Tribeca Film Institute) Amy Hobby (Sideways, Secretary, What Happened Miss Simone?), and award-winning creative producer Alex Boden (Cloud Atlas, Sense 8). The Lab’s growing community of top emerging talents from around the world make up a co-op of artists working together to generate incredible content.
Coverfly exists to provide a platform for the entertainment industry to discover projects and talented new screenwriters from all of the best-regarded screenwriting competitions, fellowships, labs and festivals. Coverfly has grown quickly to include dozens of the industry’s best talent-discovery programs, each with their own unique readers, evaluation guidelines, judges, administrators, industry partners, and prizes
Coverfly’s writer-facing dashboard allows writers to securely and transparently access their data on Coverfly’s platform. Writers can also opt to make their projects searchable and discoverable by entertainment industry professionals looking for emerging talent.
Coverfly has over 50 carefully curated organizations accepting submissions via Coverfly, and thousands of screenwriters on the free writer dashboard. Coverfly’s mission is to highlight writers’ competition successes to the entertainment industry and to connect talented emerging writers with script buyers, producers, agents, managers and studio executives.
